HOW TO STAY Stay in Naha | 2 nights and 3 days model plan

DAY 2

Breakfast at Southwest Grand Hotel is a rich buffet that uses plenty of Okinawan ingredients. Among the selection of Japanese, Western, and international cuisine, on this day we chose original bagels, hot meals, salads, and fresh juices. The best part of staying overnight is being able to keep an eye on what to choose tomorrow.
Leaving the hotel
On the second day, we took a short trip to a remote island. The front desk will arrange a shuttle to Tomari Port. It takes about 7 minutes by car from the hotel to the port. We departed with plenty of time to catch the morning flight of the high-speed boat ``Marine Liner Tokashiki'' and departed on the 9:00am ferry.

Arrive at Tokashiki Island
Tomari Port, where we boarded the ship, is a port where many ships connecting Okinawa's main island and remote islands arrive and depart. There are various remote islands, but our destination this time is Tokashiki Island, which is the closest to Naha at 30 kilometers west and can be visited on a day trip. After about 40 minutes of sailing, we arrived at Tokashiki Port.

Tokashiki Island is the largest of the Kerama Islands, which are designated as a national park. Boasting one of the clearest waters in the world, the beautiful sea is known as "Kerama Blue" and is home to colorful corals and tropical fish. We met up with the staff of the activity tour we had booked in advance and headed to the diving spot.

Rent a car to the beach
Rent a car at the port and drive around the island. If you go southwest for about 10 minutes, you will see Aharen Beach. Shirahama looks like a gentle arc. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a restaurant by the sea while surrendering to the flow of time that is unique to the island.

Drive around the island
Tokashiki Island is rich in nature, and of course the land is also attractive. After enjoying Aharen Beach, you can explore the island further. Fields and mountains with colorful flowers blooming. There are multiple observation decks on the island, and the scenery from the high ground changes color depending on the time, and when combined with the Kerama blue of the sea, it looks beautiful.

From Tomari Port to the hotel
Check the departure time of the return high-speed boat and head to Tokashiki Port. Board the Marine Liner Tokashiki at 17:30 and leave the island surrounded by the sunset. It takes about 10 minutes by taxi from Tomari Port to the hotel. When you returned to the room around 18:30, take a quick shower and prepared for dinner.
