HOW TO STAY Stay in Naha | 2 nights and 3 days model plan
An Okinawa trip based in the Naha area, where the airport is located, ensures compact travel times. You can make the most of your stay in Okinawa by fully enjoying the surrounding entertainment options. Here is the model plan for 2-night 3-day suggested by 「Southwest Grand Hotel」.
DAY 3
breakfast
For breakfast on this day, I chose a seafood rice bowl and Okinawa's traditional miso soup, "kachu-yu," which I didn’t have last time. A custom buffet in which you can choose ingredients for a seafood bowl and soup miso from multiple choices. It’s great to be able to choose as much of what I like as I want and to be able to do so whimsically and freely from the morning.
pool
Change into your swimsuit and recharge your energy by soaking up the sunshine at the pool and terrace. The water surface sparkles with the reflection of the morning sun. Also imprint the unique views from the high-rise facility in your memory.
Have coffee in the lounge
After getting ready for check-out, take a short break in the private lounge on the second floor. Enjoy some quiet time while drinking coffee. The lounge exclusively for guests can be used at any time during their stay from 6:00 to 22:00.
check out
Even after the check out, there are services like luggage storage and access to shower rooms, so your base for the trip is still here. Once you’ve left your luggage at the front desk and lightened your load, make the most of your final day.
Play in the area
On the last day, do what you like according to your hobbies. If you like golf, play golf. Okinawa is home to some of Japan's top resort courses. Enjoy exciting shots on the Champion Course, where you can play while overlooking the beautiful ocean. Mihama Town Resort American Village is also recommended if you enjoy shopping and sightseeing. DMM Kariyushi Aquarium is also a popular entertainment spot.
shower at hotel
After enjoying your leisure time, return to the hotel. Buy some souvenirs at the duty-free shop near the hotel, then go through the front desk and refresh yourself in the shower room. Head to our final dinner. The facility has dining options to suit your mood, so there's no need to use various transportation methods.
Dinner at “SHIKAKU”
"SHIKAKU" is a casual Japanese dining restaurant. There are indoor counter seats where the chefs prepare the food in front of you and outdoor terrace seats where you can relax with waterfalls flowing from the Ryukyu limestone in the background. Sake, shochu, and Awamori, carefully selected from all over the country, will revitalise the end of your trip.
Departing from Naha Airport
Since it takes about 10 minutes from the hotel to the airport, we’ll leave around 19:00, when the dinner we started a bit earlier is just finishing. We procured souvenirs we forgot to buy at Naha Airport and boarded the 20:20 flight. Since there is minimal long-distance travel, you can enjoy yourself right up until the last minute. Please try the plan based on staying at the Southwest Grand Hotel in Naha.
